Blog StartUp: Template Organization
Designing your own successful web page can seem difficult and nearly impossible if you do not do a little research first. The reason you need to know the basics of web page design is because the design of your website will actually influence whether or not people continue to visit your site and ultimately, whether they will buy from you or not. Obviously, a lot is riding on your design so it is worthwhile to take this seriously and put some effort into doing it right the first time.

Is Facebook The Next Big Thing?
Obvious, you might say. But is it? Think back to what Google did. And I mean before Adsense/Adwords, Gmail, and so on. They built search.

Haute Secure
In short, Haute Secure is a Malware Filter, much like a Phishing or Spam Filter in existing applications. It provides a beautiful (you really have to see it!) interface and toolbar to IE (and soon Firefox) which protects users from incoming malware on a variety of levels, starting from the site level to the execution level. If cnn.com were to be hacked tomorrow with an unreleased exploit that would attempt to download a worm or other malware on visitors’ machines, Haute would be able to detect that, and block the exploit from happening.

Google Acquires GrandCentral
I’ve been a user of GrandCentral for a few months, so I’m excited to see that it’s been scooped up by Google and will become a part of its communication interface (expect to see some kind of a tie-in with GTalk and GMail).
