Why Doesn't archive.org Use BitTorrent?

Great BitTorrent application if archive.org decided to deploy it.

I don’t really get why archive.org isn’t making use of the BitTorrent protocol. I guess it would work pretty well with their content and with their servers being sooooo slow all the time it would be a real boon. Is there a reason why they don’t do it?
