SSCLI Source Code Browser Online
Shared Source, is an umbrella term used by Microsoft for its dabbling in the open-source wave. It encompasses multiple programs that grant licensees to access the source codes from ASP.NET sample kit all the way up to the Windows itself. The license under which SSCLI is distributed does not exactly make it free software as the license fails to satisfy the four freedoms of an free software license. However, there is enough discussion on this topic and certainly nobody can argue that having access to the source code of the CLI is worse than not.
