Google Pack
Gripes aside, Google Pack really helped me. I assumed it would be a nice way to save time managing programs on my fiancé’s computer, but seeing as my PC is pretty much bare (it has a few games, Firefox, Tortoise SVN, InstantRails and a text editor installed), I actually found it very useful. I noticed a lot of digg.com readers commenting that Google were becoming ‘bloated’, or doing too much, but it worked nicely for me!
