Free Versus Freedom
In the "Open Source for Newbies" department we have yet another author taking a run at explaining the difference between "free" and "freedom." This author (David Chisnall at informit.com) does a pretty good job, as he goes to some effort to explain the 4 freedoms outlined by the Free Software Movement and how the concept of free -- as in "no cost" -- got grafted on to Open Source. Good reading if this is still a topic that causes you some consternation.
