EU Ducks Microsoft Issues

Back to the court for resolution:

The position concerning potential end user restrictions on usage of code embedded in open source applications is unresolved. The commission has taken the extraordinary step of allowing Microsoft to take its argument to court rather than rule itself and so put Microsoft on the back foot. Understandably, the Free Software Foundation Europe is angry and frustrated.
